Who can use this

This service is for adults aged 18 and over, requesting for themselves. We cannot accept a request from anyone under 18, or one made by a parent or guardian on a child’s behalf. If that’s you, the home page lists organisations that welcome younger naturalists.

What we do, and what we don’t promise

We are a volunteer network that makes introductions and offers guidance. We don’t guarantee a match, an introduction, a reply, a placement, a job or any particular outcome. Volunteers and contacts give their time freely and may be slow to respond.

Being a good guest

When we connect you with someone, you’re reaching a real person offering their time. Please be courteous, specific and patient, and don’t use a contact’s details for anything other than the introduction we made.

Your information

How we handle your data is set out in our privacy notice. In short: we collect only what we need, our basis is your consent, and your private request link lets you view, export or delete your data at any time.
